Ms. Marucci received a B.A. from Rutgers University in 2004, an M.S. in International Law and Global Affairs from New York University in 2012, and a J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law in 2016.

 

She has over eight years of immigration law experience, having started her career in in 2007 as a paralegal. In law school, Ms. Marucci studied immigration law and worked as an immigration law research assistant. 

 

During her law school career, Ms. Marucci interned with Hon. Rita Mella at Manhattan Surrogate’s Court and later with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, a not-for-profit based in New York City.

 

In her last year at law school, Ms. Marucci worked as a student attorney in the law school’s well-respected Immigrant and Non-Citizen Rights Clinic where she assisted clients in the areas of deportation defense, asylum, domestic violence, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), adjustment of status, same-sex immigration, and Naturalization.

 

Ms. Marucci is a trained mediator, having completed New York Peace Institute’s Mediation Apprenticeship program approved by New York State’s Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Court Improvement Programs, and speaks Portuguese and Italian.
